LANDRACE Tupelo V2 Gallery

LANDRACE Tupelo V2 Gallery

Summer evenings on Romney Marsh are special and the light is outstanding so we took the new Tupelo V2 out for a spin and some photos.

The new Tupelo's geometry has not changed from the original (now known as the 'Classic') but there is an additional butted tube to improve comfort and reduce a little weight the biggest improvement is the new headtube and fork option by that allows the routing of the brake hose internally in the bike for a modern and clean appearance.

With the FSA No.13 headset or the Chris King Aeroset 3 headset installed the frame stack to the top of the headset is the same as the Classic's headtube. The new headtube is 23mm shorter to accommodate the external headset option.

There is still an option to run external brake hose if preferred by using a Hopetech headset.

To allow for the internal routing we have sourced our own carbon fork called The Varne in an internal and external brake hose routing option. Both versions have mudguard eyelets.

Another small change is that there is only one cable port on the downtube as we very rarely install mechanical gears on the Tupelos. This makes for a cleaner look and a stronger downtube - less holes is always better. On the new Boxer however, two ports remain as this bike is built for off-road adventures and mechanical gears still remain popular when heading to far flung destinations.

Now on display at our Fire Station shop

The bike is this gallery is assembled with SRAM's new Force AXS E1 groupset, Enve Composites carbon compact road handlebar and aero in-route stem with a Chris King trim of headset, seatclamp and bottom bracket. The LANDRACE GRV wheels are laced to matching Chris King hubs to complete the package. This build combination is proving very popular as it let's you personalise your build.

A build like this comes in around £8k depending on things like powermeters etc. if you would like to find out more you can complete the contact form or give the shop a call.
