The Landrace Tupelo frame developed from the extensive bikefitting and custom frame expertise of Cyclefit founders Phil Cavell and Julian Wall.
They wanted a bike for their customers they could build to fit perfectly after their Cyclefits and without compromise and offer a stable, confidence inspiring ride.
The Tupelo is designed to be comfortable, using butted titanium tubing for a smooth ride and a geometry that puts the rider in an efficient and comfortable position with the handlebars in easy reach.
Sensible stack & reach
A comfortable rider is an efficient rider. The Landrace geometry will put your handlebars in just the right place so you can ride all day. The frame is shorter and higher than any other frame on the market.
Stable handling
Beyond everything Tupelo is designed to look after you. Even when you have strayed somewhere you shouldn't! Responsive enough to be fun, stable enough to inspire confidence.
Low bottom bracket
Hands the pilot a huge dose of poise and bike handling confidence they have never felt before. Fast and technical descents are taken with ease.
Tyre clearance
The Tupelo is at home on the road or on light gravel, the frame and fork are optimized for 28mm plus road tyres and up to 38mm gravel tyres.
Short chainstays
Long enough for a 38mm gravel tyre, or a 32mm road tyre with mudguards; short enough to provide great power transfer out the saddle and quick out of the corners.
Seat Angle
Steeper than many bikes on the market, it means your hips are more open for better pedalling and you are more balanced on the bike.
The Tupelo features practical touches such as multiple bottle cage mounts, mudguard eyelets.

Tupelo V2
The Tupelo V2 geometry is virtually the same the Classic Tupelo other than the shorter headtube to allow for the external headset. Higher than average handlebar position, stable handling, low bottom bracket and short chainstays for a responsive ride.

Universal Derailleur Hanger - UDH
Why did we spec a Universal Derailleur Hanger on our Tupelo and Boxer frames? In an effort to try and keep cycling design and component variables as simple as possible the UDH is being adopted by many bike brands; it means we can install all makes of rear derailleur using the alloy drop-out or directly mounting the rear mech like the SRAM Force AXS XPLR. And getting a replacement is much easier than it used to be!
Oversize headtube
The new headtube standard on the Landrace frames is 44mm. The wider diameter headtube accommodates the brake hoses so they can run internally through frame and in to the front fork.
We use the FSA No.13 headset and Chris King Aeroset 3 EC44/EC44 headsets. Both headsets work with a with a 44mm straight headtube and a fork with a 1-1/8” to 1.5” tapered steerer tube.
The polished titanium headtube badge adds a nice finish.
The T47 Bottom Bracket
The bottom bracket on joins the downtube, seat tube and chainstays together. All the power you generate through the pedals is channelled through the bottom bracket shell and out in to the frame. Using a T47 bottom bracket means there is a larger welding area and makes for a stiffer BB to deliver the energy out in to back wheel. The shell is threaded for a solid and precise fit for the bottom bracket and keeps it square and stable, no creaking like on those old pressfit carbon bikes.
