The LANDRACE Boxer Brief:
Take the award winning Tupelo geometry and re-map it for the most epic landscapes. Because wider horizons off-road means wider tyres.
The Landrace Boxer frame developed from the extensive bike fitting and custom frame expertise of Cyclefit founders Philip Cavell and Julian Wall.
They wanted a bike for they could build to perfectly fit their clients after a Cyclefit appointment, and without compromise.
Twenty five thousand bikefits and twenty five thousand people later we have the the Boxer.
The Boxer is designed to be comfortable over all terrains. The main triangle utilises butted and swaged 3aL 2V titanium tubing for a supple ride but with enough lateral stiffness for power transfer and stability.
Phil and Jules' combined experience designing frames with the world's finest frame builders such as Colnago, Passoni, Seven Cycles, No22, Serotta, et al. has enabled them to produce one of the best riding bikes on the planet.
Julian has spent many years riding and competing off-road and applied his experience to the Boxer's frame design and geometry.
Sensible stack & reach
A comfortable rider is an efficient rider. The Landrace geometry will put your handlebars in just the right place so you can ride all day. The frame is shorter and higher than many bikes on the market.
Stable but fun
Beyond everything the Boxer is designed to look after you. Even when you have strayed somewhere you shouldn't. Responsive enough to be fun, stable enough to inspire confidence on fast and loose technical trails.
Low bottom bracket
Hands the pilot a huge dose of poise and bike handling confidence they have never felt before. Fast and technical descents are taken with ease. Your centre of gravity is lowered between the wheel axles.
Tyre clearance
The Boxer will easily take 700 x 47c tyres and 50mm tyres with a fine tread pattern so you can enjoy the big views in total control and comfort.
For winter road riding a 40mm tyre with a mudguars is possible (PDW All metal Fenders in 55mm).
Chainstays
At 435mm , 10mm longer than the Tupelo we get more space for wider tyres and a longer wheelbase; the CNC machined drive side chainstay makes extra space for wide tyres and up to a 50T chainring. The extra 10mm on the chainstays and the longer 50mm rake of the fork increases the wheelbase for stable descending at speed.
Seat Angle
Steeper than many bikes on the market, it helps position your 'centre of mass' over the bottom bracket for a balanced ride. It also helps to keep your hips more open for better pedalling and glute engagement.
The Walland Gravel Fork
At 398mm long and with a 50mm rake we have enough room for a 47mm tyre and a 50mm tyre with a fine tread.
Luggage mounts on the forks will take up to 2kg each.
Mudguard mounts.
Internal dynamo cable routing.
Extra braze-ons
Mounts on the seatstay for a rear rack and on the top-tube for extra luggage.

Tupelo V2
The Tupelo V2 geometry is designed to give you a comfortable ride but not at the expense of a responsive handling bike. We have probably designed more bikes than most of the 'designers' working for the big bike brands.
Tupelo Frame Details
Universal Derailleur Hanger - UDH
Why did we spec a Universal Derailleur Hanger on our Tupelo and Boxer frames? In an effort to try and keep cycling design and component variables as simple as possible the UDH is being adopted by many bike brands; it means we can install all makes of rear derailleur using the alloy drop-out or directly mounting the rear mech like the SRAM Force AXS XPLR. And getting a replacement is much easier than it used to be!
Oversize Headtube
The new headtube standard on the Landrace frames is 44mm. The wider diameter headtube accommodates the brake hoses so they can run internally through frame and in to the front fork.
It also provides a larger contact area to weld the thw top tube and down tube, strengthening the front of the frame.
We use the FSA No.13 headset and Chris King Aeroset 3 EC44/EC44 headsets. Both headsets work with a with a 44mm straight headtube and a fork with a 1-1/8” to 1.5” tapered steerer tube.
The polished titanium headtube badge adds a nice finish.
The Bottom Bracket
The bottom bracket on joins the downtube, seat tube and chainstays together. All the power you generate through the pedals is channelled through the bottom bracket shell and out in to the frame. Using a T47 bottom bracket means there is a larger welding area and makes for a stiffer BB to deliver the energy out in to back wheel. The shell is threaded for a solid and precise fit for the bottom bracket and keeps it square and stable, no creaking like on those old pressfit carbon bikes.
